Westbram Family Physicians offer comprehensive primary care from prenatal services to geriatric care.
We will do our best for same day appointments for urgent/non-emergent issues. Please call us at 905-451-1244. For emergent issues, please visit your nearest emergency department. We do not encourage the use of walk in clinics as we are open 7 days a week.
To book a same-day appointment, please call as early in the day as possible, as availability becomes limited as the day goes on.
Examples of urgent issues which can be seen with us include rash, simple urinary tract infections or minor injuries.
Examples of emergent issues that need to be seen in the emergency department include chest pain, stroke symptoms or severe injuries.

Friday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Saturday — Sunday: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Westbram Family Physicians is formally affiliated with McMaster University and Toronto Metropolitan University and functions as a teaching site for both.
Please read before your visit
Some physicians in our clinic use secure, PHIPA-compliant AI tools to assist with processing clinical information and note-taking. If audio is used for this purpose, recordings are not stored permanently and are deleted after processing. If you do not wish for these tools to be used in your care, please inform your physician or nurse practitioner.
Non-OHIP insured services (for example doctors notes, insurance forms, driver’s physical) are cash only at this time. Please ask our receptionists about the cost in advance. A receipt will be provided.
No-Show Policy: If you miss two appointments, or cancel two appointments with less than 48 hours’ notice, a no-show fee will be required before you can book your next (third) appointment with your physician.
If you cannot make it to your appointment, please provide at least 48 hours notice.
IF you do not provide 48 hours cancellation notice, this will constitute a “NO SHOW”.

Flu shots are now available! There is a significant spike of influenza cases this year. compared to previous years. Please take proper hygiene precautions and make sure to get vaccinated.
Given the increased prevalence of influenza (flu), we recommend all patients to wear a mask when coming to the clinic regardless of the presence or absence of any flu like symptoms.
Call today to see your doctor about getting the RSV immunization (if you are above 70 or have a newborn under the age of 8 months who did not receive from hospital at birth).
Dr. Anupam Malik will be retiring effective December 31, 2025. We are grateful for the many years of care and dedication she has provided to our patients and community. We wish her all the best!

Online booking is currently being piloted for Dr. Yazad Bhathena’s patients.
Semi-urgent online booking: Each weekday, we set aside 3 appointments specifically for online booking, and on Fridays, we reserve 12 additional appointments in the morning for this purpose. All of these spots become available to book exactly 3 days in advance. If you would like to book one of these appointments, please select the “Semi-Urgent” option when making your online booking
All other available appointments can be scheduled by calling our front desk directly.
